Latino in America: CNN Special

In 2009 CNN came out with a great special called, “Latino in America”. If you are interested in learning more about Hispanic culture and what it is like to live in America as a Latino, this is a great documentary. I’ve embedded a link to the series on YouTube where you can watch it.

I think one of the biggest barriers we have to reaching people from a different cultural background is just the lack of knowledge we have about them. The most important thing you can do entering a new culture is to enter with the attitude of a learner. Have humility to recognize you don’t know everything. These videos will help you in the process of learning about being Latino in America.
